ADVANCED CARDIOVASCULAR LIFE SUPPORT
This course builds on the foundation of the lifesaving skills of BLS, with continuous emphases of the importance of High Quality CPR.
This is an advanced course with hands on training instruction that is designated for skilled healthcare professionals to help enhance and build on skills to recognize High performance teams, Systems of Care, Recognition of Cardiac Arrest, Recognition of a Stroke, Acute Coronary Syndromes (ACS), Application of ACLS algorithms
The program is designed for providers who are expected to treat critically ill patients and are required to obtain ACLS certification based on employment or licensing requirements.
**Students enrolling in this program MUST hold a current BLS and ACLS Provider Card, and have a general understanding of emergency pharmacology, ECG interpretation skills. This ACLS Renewal course is designed to teach students the life saving skills necessary to manage an assist in acute cardiac or cardiac arrest situations.
